How to bring back Fresh Air into your home
If you wake up each morning smelling stale and malodorous air, you need to clean your home and bring back the fresh air in your home. Fortunately, there are several products in the market these days that can help you in this direction.
However, what’s taking people by storm are green cleaning habits by which you adopt safe methods of cleaning and infusing fresh air in your home. By using products made with green chemicals, you can reduce the amount of harmful waste that becomes part of our environment ever so easily and so reduce any risks to your health such as asthma or allergies.

You can also use natural cleaning products such as:
- Citrus peel: The peel of oranges or any other citrus fruit are useful in cleaning your waste disposal home unit. This is because they exude natural oils with a fresh perfume, while also removing any oily foods. Once ground, these peels serve as excellent deodorizers for garbage disposal.
- Peppermint extract:To use this, fill the kitchen sink with hot water each week and add a few drops of peppermint extract to it. Switch on your garbage disposal unit as the water with peppermint extract flows down the drain. This solution will help release any food particles stuck on to the disposal unit and will give off a fresh perfume.
- White vinegar: Dilute it in water and use the solution to mop floors, wipe counters, etc.
- Baking soda: Use this to get rid of odor anywhere, including your cupboards and refrigerator and bring back fresh air into your home.
- Spices and herbs: Use a variety of herbs and spices such as ginger, cloves, cinnamon sticks, basil, rosemary, etc. Sprinkle this on surfaces and counter tops. Use them whole or ground or boil them before use.
- Potpourri:Use homemade or store-bought potpourri to convert odor in the air to fresh air.
- Extracts: Extracts of vanilla, almond or orange or any other flavor is good to dab around so that odor in the air disappears. Do this regularly and see the results.
